Pezula has 78 suites in free-standing two-tiered villas (four to a villa) that are linked by short landscaped pathways to the nearby main building and accessed by foot or battery operated golf carts. All suites boast the spectacular views of the Knysna Lagoon or Indian Ocean and the Pezula Championship Golf Course, and are decorated in a Contemporary African style, with warm earth tones throughout.

Suites are indulgent, completely private and exude a sense of luxury and comfort from the real log fireplaces to the underfloor heating in the bathrooms.

Studio and Villa Suites

Studio Suites are a generous 624 square feet and Villa Suites are a generous 732 square feet including en suite bathrooms and are available with twin or king-size beds. A comfortable seating area has a log fireplace, ottoman, desk, leather easy chair, daybed and small dining table and chairs.

Upstairs suites have private balconies and ground floor suites lead to secluded outdoor patios all with panoramic views of the Pezula Championship Course or the Indian Ocean.

Presidential Suites

Kufara and Mufaro are Pezula's ultra luxurious and spacious Presidential Suites. Each suite is 1,475 square feet in size and boasts a generous bedroom, king-size bed and seating area, reception area, guest toilet, separate lounge and dining area, real log fireplaces in the bedroom and lounge and a well-equipped kitchen.

Ground floor Mufaro has private patios off the bedroom and lounge and upstairs Kufara has two private balconies. Both have breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean and Pezula Championship Course. A dedicated butler adds to the outstanding level of service.

Executive Chef, New York born Geoffrey Murray, combines years of experience with a deep devotion to using local organic products prepared with a global twist to create his 'Modern Ethnic' menus. Zachary's Restaurant

The highly acclaimed Zachary's is a sophisticated world-class gourmet restaurant named after the Chairman's much loved and well-travelled Labrador, Zachary's is stylish and contemporary and reflects the five star luxury of the hotel.

The impressive wine cellar stocks a superb collection of local and international wines, including South African boutique blends.

Zachary's Lounge

This double volume space in the heart of the hotel has two fireplaces, and views of Zachary's Terrace, the hotel swimming pool, the Knysna Lagoon and Outeniqua Mountains. With its huge windows, glass doors and brightly colored furnishings, the Lounge is airy, light and spacious. In inclement weather, roaring log fires blaze throughout the day making it an ideal venue for informal dining, including breakfast, lunch, dinner and light meals. Children are welcome and are catered for with special Kiddies menus.

Zachary's Terrace

Weather permitting, guests are able to dine al fresco on Zachary's Terrace next to the pool area, with its breathtaking views of the golf course and the Knysna Lagoon framed by the Outeniqua Mountains. Breakfast, lunch and informal dinners are served here as well as light meals throughout the day. Children are welcome and are catered for with special Kiddies menus.

Picnics

With its superb location and stunning panoramic views of the sea and lagoon, Pezula Resort offers many opportunities for picnicking in the outdoors. Order a delicious picnic hamper from Zachary's restaurant to enjoy with a bottle of wine on secluded Noetzie beach where you can spend the day sunbathing, collecting shells and paddling in the natural rock pools.

Spread a rug on the lush green lawns of the Field of Dreams, surrounded by the sweeping fynbos landscapes and indigenous forests of the Private Estate, and relax as you listen to the cry of a fish eagle circling overhead. You may even choose to picnic in front of the fireplace in your suite or on the secluded patio.

Pezula can offer such a vast choice of activities in such magnificent natural surroundings. It comprises a low-density award-winning private residential estate on which a sports complex, the Field of Dreams, has been built into the natural contours of the land, hidden in a valley surrounded by trees.
