The beauty of Cape Town and the wild animals of Kruger National Park and the surrounding Sabi Sands area, combine to make South Africa a unique destination that should be near the top of every list of places to visit. Few countries offer such a wide array of accommodation, activities, and people.

Cape Town

Located on the southwestern coast of South Africa lies Cape Town, a city blessed with unsurpassed beauty, wonderful beaches, world-famous vineyards, luxurious hotels, and exquisite cuisine. Table Mountain rises above the city yielding a breathtaking background with sensational views of the city. The historic waterfront offers a relaxing place to shop, dine, and enjoy. Nearby is the Cape of Good Hope offering spectacular views of the southern most portion of Africa.

Kruger National Park

Kruger National Park is one of the best and most famous wildlife parks in the World. A wealth of animals such as the big 5 (Rhinos, Buffaloes, Lions, Leopards, and Elephants) as well as giraffes and hippos to name just a few can be viewed in and around Kruger National Park. Amazing private game reserves such as Singita, Sabi Sabi, and Mala Mala, located in the Sabi Sands area adjacent to Kruger National Park, are a few of the World’s finest and most luxurious lodges. In addition to luxury, these lodges offer privacy, seclusion, personalized service, excellent food, and game drives that make the area one of the finest spots we know!

Johannesburg

Johannesburg, the largest city in South Africa, is a great city to use as a base for exploration of the rest of South Africa. Johannesburg is a central location allowing easy access to any place in South Africa. Many International flights arrive in Johannesburg and it is quite possible you will spend a night or two in the city.

South Africa has fairly mild winters and hot summers which make it a nice destination year-round. Many people feel the best time to visit is October through April. Other people prefer May through November. It depends on where you are in South Africa. Game Viewing around Kruger National Park is nice year-round and August is a particularly busy month. Cape Town can be cool in the winter months, though is quite popular in the summer months.

Flights from the United States are regularly scheduled from cities such as New York, Washington D.C. and Atlanta. Flights also arrive from Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. Many airlines fly to South Africa. Call or email us for additional information. International flights commonly arrive and depart from Cape Town and Johannesburg. Johannesburg is a large hub that connects much of the World with Southern Africa.
