Sexy, Modern, Chic – a vibrant trifecta of adjectives that speak worlds of this supremely stylish resort that sits on the east coast of Mauritius, overlooking the tranquil Trou d’Eau Douce bay. Le Touessrok, with its two adjacent island retreats, is built in the style of a Mediterranean village and is the epitome of understated luxury and refinement.

On the mainland, the Hibiscus and Coral wings offer beautiful rooms and suites designed and finished in cool, contemporary interpretations of Mauritian style. The hotel’s private retreat island, Îlot Mangénie, is a Robinson Crusoe-style hideaway reserved for the exclusive use of guests, and just three minutes away by private boat.
Another short ride away by taxi-boat ferry is the beautiful island of Île aux Cerfs where a magnificent 18-hole championship golf course, designed by Bernhard Langer, entices golfing enthusiasts.

The Hibiscus Wing and Coral Wing are both located on the mainland, with further suites on the private Frangipani Island. All rooms and suites are sea-facing. All guests have personalized 24-hour butler service.

Three-Nine-Eight
The main dining room is on three different levels; with cuisines of nine countries presented in a ‘culinary theatre’ by eight show kitchens. Barlen’s
With wooden floors, thatched roofs and its contemporary Asian-inspired interior, this unique beachside restaurant and bar pampers guests who dine on the shoreline of Trou d’Eau Douce Bay Choose from sushi, Western char-grills, Japanese grills and salads. Safran
This enchanting restaurant, with its modern interpretation of classic Indian cuisine, applies continental methods of preparation to a range of timeless Indian recipes. The open kitchen’s focal point is the tandoori ovens producing a tasty variety of Indian bread, mouth-watering appetizers and main courses. Crusoe’s Restaurant & Robinson’s Bar
Situated on Ilot Mangénie, Crusoe’s is open for lunch from 12am to 3pm offering fresh fish, salad bar and pizza. Every Sunday, Robinson’s features a lavish brunch with its signature stir-fry kiosk, spit-roasted leg of lamb or free-range chicken, a lagoon seafood barbecue, salad bar and dessert counter. Paul et Virginie & Sands Bar
Named after the famous shipwrecked lovers Paul et Virginie of the 18th century, the restaurant serves perfect beachside daytime fare of lightly grilled, fried or steamed local fish, seafood, pizzas and simple Mauritian dishes such as palm-heart salad. Land Sports
Situated opposite the resort on Ile aux Cerfs is Le Touessrok Golf Course, an 18-hole par-72 championship golf course designed by Bernhard Langer. This features a Golf Academy, which offers a state-of-the-art teaching and practice facility. On the mainland, horse riding, nature trails, deer stalking, cycling, bocciball, jogging track, volleyball, football and four floodlit tennis courts, and fitness center. T Club is free for all children from 2-11 years and provides world-class benefits including exciting, ultra cool and imaginative daily fun programs, age-appropriate activities, facilities and amenities, over twelve hours a day (10 AM – 10 PM). Members have the opportunity to enjoy golf, tennis, windsurfing and swimming clinics as well as environmental excursions with a focus on educational enrichment.
