Remote, private and surrounded by warm aquamarine ocean, Six Senses Laamu enjoys a prime location on uninhabited Olhuveli Island in the southern part of the Maldives archipelago. Dining experiences at Six Senses Laamu make the best use of the resort’s sensational surrounds. The Altitude wine cellar, with its 21-foot ocean-to-ceiling glass wine tower, offers tastings and degustation dinners at its prime center table. Perched above the resort’s organic garden, an organic restaurant provides sunset views to complement a la carte meals made with fresh garden ingredients or daily line-caught fish dishes. For a special treat, Ice boasts a cocoa kitchen, crepe bar and 40 flavored ice creams to satisfy any sweet tooth.

Longitude (The Main Restaurant)
Designed with clean lines and a modern approach, Longitude offers an International menu with strong Asian influence in the concept of casual and relaxed dining with its open pavilions, daybeds and over water nets on split levels. The Breakfast buffet is of International and Continental cuisine with various stations around the restaurant, including a fruit station and live cooking stations. Longitude Dinner for five nights per week is a la carte and a daily changing menu with a modern and fresh approach captivating flavors from both hemispheres. The two remaining nights are themed buffets serving food from the Maldives, Sri-Lanka, India, Thailand and the Mediterranean.

Es’sense (Cooking Hut)
Es’sense is the cooking hut with a pizza oven and hosts the live cooking stations for Longitude at breakfast, lunch and dinner. It also offers a full range of cooking classes with splendid views over the lagoon where guests can enjoy learning about various cuisines from Asia and Europe.
Leaf (Organic Restaurant)
Leaf Restaurant is perched high above the resort’s organic garden. It serves the freshest possible food, picked and caught only hours before it is served. The cuisine offered is based upon a contemporary Mediterranean concept with a modern twist. Guests can wander and explore the organic garden, allowing them to play a part in their dining experience. The restaurant is the resort’s fine dining outlet, offering daily changing menus.
The main feature of LEAF restaurant is the Chili table located in the center of chili patch with 12 types of different chilies from around the world. Each course of the menu for this special dining experience will have chili in it, including the dessert. In addition, LEAF restaurant only serves organic and biodynamic wines carefully selected by the in-house sommelier. Sample Menu
Altitude (Wine Cellar)
Altitude is a 70 foot tower of spun glass, rising high out of the sea – a wine ‘cellar’ as never before seen. As well as 500 different labels, it has its own delicatessen and an all-important tasting table. Altitude is open and used daily for different tasting experiences such as wine and cheese, wine and chocolate, wine and music, blind tastings and regional wine tastings as well as tastings and wine dinners with guest wine makers.

Chai (Tea and Coffee Lounge)
Chai offers 28 types of teas and 11 types of coffee with roasting on site. It also features a small a la carte menu offering freshly baked pastries, Maldivian, Sri-Lanka and Indian short eats, baked cookies, classical tea cake, fruit breads, English scones and mini French patisserie. In the evening guests can relax after dinner in the lounge with coffee, tea, and a drift wood liqueur trolley. Weekly Menu
Chill (The Main Bar)
This is a relaxed multi-level panoramic bar offering 200 different brown and white spirits in its Spirit Tower, as well as a large cocktails list with 30 specials created by the resort’s Head Mixologist. Chill also offers an all-day dining menu- comfort style- and a la carte dishes. Early evening sunset hour tapas and canapés are offered along with unique and exciting cocktails. Once the sunset dims, the gentle jazz gives way to some soul, rhythm and blues with visiting musicians adding to the vibe. After dinner guests are offered tasters of dessert style canapés and chocolate petit fours to accompany an after dinner drink. Food Menu
Ice (Ice Cream Parlor)
Ice offers an array of sweet and savory crepes, waffles, cones and pancakes. It features over 40 flavors of homemade ice creams and sorbets with a huge variety of toppings and sauces. The Chocolate Studio makes fine chocolates that are served throughout the resort. Ice hosts chocolate clinics for guests to experience the decadent art of chocolate making. The Deli (Meat and Cheese Room)
Located inside Altitude, Deli offers an extensive variety of European hams, sausages, cheese, freshly baked breads, various infused oils, marinated olives as well as pickles and chutneys to match.
Deck-A-Dence
Further into Laamu’s lagoon where Napoleon wrasse and parrotfish swim along a spectrum of thriving coral, six glass aquarium dinner tables sit above the sea. While stars illuminate the scene from above and waves lap soothingly underneath, guests can feast on inventive, local fare, such as grilled reef fish over a fire of coconut shells with Maldivian spices, coriander and lime… a memorable meal as groundbreaking as it is gourmet.
Spa Juice Bar
Relax and enjoy the view of the Indian Ocean while you sip a healthy drink made to your taste. Spa Juice Bar offers guests healthy juices that have been carefully selected according to the treatments guests received in the Spa. The menu contains drinks with various nutritional benefits and healing effects: soothing, calming, stress release, detoxifying, energizing.

Practitioners offer guests lifestyle consultations and specialized holistic treatments, including acupuncture, cranial sacral therapy, reflexology, acupressure, Reiki and shiatsu.
