A truly elegant resort, One&Only Reethi Rah is grand in every sense of the word. The journey to bliss begins on One&Only’s 55-foot luxury yacht where check-in takes place on board whilst guests enjoy drinks and canapés en route to the resort. One&Only Reethi Rah’s 130 villas are discreetly placed amidst beautiful landscaping, each occupying its own secluded piece of sandy shore or private deck over crystal clear lagoon waters. The look and feel is sleek and elegantly tropical, using beautiful materials and contemporary styling.

Beach Villas

The 850 ft² (79 m²) interiors include views directly from the double bed onto the beach. Decor is sleek with clean lines, a perfect foil for the Tropical wood and thatch exteriors. A shaded veranda (280 ft²/26 m²) overlooks the beach, with outside table, seating area and day bed. All Beach Villas offer outdoor tropical showers.

Beach Villas with Pool

Chic decking edges the Villa and there is an outdoor pool, shower and day bed. Water Villas

Perched over the pale blue waters of the lagoon, Water Villas are connected to the island by walkways. These villas are the same size as the Beach Villas, but with outdoor covered verandas on stilts (420ft²/39 m²) and split-level decks of 334 ft² (31 m²). Netting suspended from the sides makes perfect breezy sunbathing over water.

Grand Beach Villas

Commanding their own sections of shore, Grand Beach Villas are hidden in tropical foliage with private access to the ocean. Interiors include one or two large bedrooms and a sitting area, looking directly over the water, together with a bathroom with a large tub for two. Shady verandas create a generous seating and dining area, beyond which lie a private beach, 538 ft² (50 m²) pool and canopied day bed.

The key note for dining at One&Only Reethi Rah is island chic. Whether eating in casual wear beside the beach or more formally in the main restaurant, guests enjoy an extremely high level of service. Food is innovative and created from the finest ingredients, prepared in an inspiring variety of ways. Staff are always receptive to the personal requirements of each and every guest.

Reethi Restaurant

On the eastern side of the island, is the resort’s main restaurant, set in thatched pavilions over the water. Outside tables run along the decking beside the ocean. The service is immaculate and the cuisine world-class, while the ambience is low-key, tropical and breezy. Floor-to-ceiling glass screens reveal the show kitchen to diners seated in air-conditioned comfort. The walk-in wine cellar features 450 premium labels from around the World and there is a private dining room ideal for special events. An extensive coffee bar offers a comprehensive choice of specialty brews. An impressive à la carte menu fuses flavors from the Far East, Middle East and Mediterranean into a light, contemporary cuisine – a perfect match for the surroundings. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Tapasake

This spectacular over-the-water restaurant overlooks One&Only Reethi Rah’s west beach, allowing guests to watch the sun set over the ocean as they dine. A variety of seating includes the sea-view deck, chef’s table, sushi counter, laid-back sunken pods or romantic, covered deck seating. On the menu, superb fish and seafood, fresh out of the Indian Ocean, are transformed into Japanese sushi and sashimi prepared in front of you. The wine list concentrates on the world’s best Rieslings, currently taking wine critics by storm. Open for dinner only.

Fanditha

If the idea of dining with your feet in the sand while enjoying ocean views appeals, Fanditha – meaning ‘magic’ in Dhivehi (the Maldivian language) – is for you. Set on the northern tip of the island it offers casual dining with a unique Arabian beach concept, chill-out ambience and open views. The dress code is relaxed – no shoes, jackets or ties – just a sarong or wrap, shorts and t-shirts. Guests can laze on divan-style bolsters and Arabic carpets, on driftwood loungers or in woven hammocks, while enjoying live DJ entertainment. The aroma of home-baked bread is in the air and diners can choose from a wonderful range of healthy but filling grilled food and salads. Open for lunch and dinner on selected evenings only. Sunday champagne brunch.

Rah Bar

Next to the main pool and aimed at swimmers and sunbathers who don’t wish to move far, Rah Bar has a great all day menu of healthy salads, wraps and snacks. Low-fat smoothies made with exotic fresh fruits and vegetables, a variety of waters, and a fresh juice station provide the perfect accompaniment. In the evening, Rah Bar becomes a vibrant cocktail bar with live music, cool martinis, and tropical champagne cocktails.

One&Only Reethi Rah offers a host of activities on and off shore.

A wide range of water sports facilities are available, including canoes, kayaks, pedal and paddle boats, snorkeling and windsurfing.

If desired, guests can also enjoy guided snorkeling excursions, deep-sea fishing, parasailing, banana and tube rides, catamaran sailing and jet skiing.

Scuba Diving

The resort is surrounded by crystal-blue waters and miles of reefs. Beginners appreciate the clear seas and gentle drop-offs to deeper waters, while certified divers can discover some of the world’s best spots. The resort’s PADI dive center also offers certification courses, as well as nitrox, rebreather and night dive expeditions.

Land Sports

Sports include a tennis club affiliated with Peter Burwash International, yoga, Tai Chi, Pilates, cycling, bowls, a jogging track, volleyball and football. There is also a wide array of excursions available (from a Male’ tour, to night fishing on traditional dhoni) and cruises at sunrise and sunset.

One&Only Spa

In its own secluded part of the resort and insulated from distractions, the spa presents an atmosphere of calm and tranquility. Built around a thatched reception area with spectacular views over the ocean, it covers an area of 102,250 ft² (9,500m²), with indoor and outdoor heat experiences ranging from crystal steam rooms, stone saunas, lifestyle showers, hot pools with shoulder massage, air beds and ice fountains. Eight individual treatment suites are separately located within pavilions, while two double treatment suites occupy platforms over the ocean and offer private steam showers and soaking tubs. Spa dining can be privately catered.

ESPA brings to One&Only Reethi Rah a range of treatment traditions from many areas of the world – from Thai massage to European aromatherapy – and offers emphasis on the Ayurvedic methods of the Indian sub-continent. ESPA treatments are custom-designed to meet each guest’s specific needs. All treatments begin with a gentle foot treatment, which includes marma point massage. After treatment, men and women can relax in separate areas, with scented gardens and shade areas, perfect for dreaming or sleeping. The spa also has a Chi Pavilion set over the ocean for yoga, Pilates and Tai Chi.

Fitness Center

The resort provides a state-of-the-art fitness center for all workout regimens, complete with cardiovascular training equipment and resistance machines from Technogym.
