Dhoni Stella 1 & 2 are wonderful combinations between classic and modern. In fact, they are the first live-aboard dhonies designed on the model of the legendary Kalhuofummi, the miraculous 'dhoni' of the Maldivian hero, Mohammad Thakurufaanu, which escaped the more equipped boats of the Portuguese invasion of the Maldives in the second part of the 16th century.

Dhoni Stella yachts are largely built by using local wood and many details and finishing recall the antique boat with simplicity and elegance. A cruise on Dhoni Stella is an enriching journey on board of a unique and authentic traditional boat.

On board of Dhoni Stella, the amenities are carefully planned to make you feel at home and in total comfort. A small library contains books on the history of the Maldives and storybooks to keep you dreaming of the waters you are sailing.

Each Dhoni Stella counts 1 captain, 1 chef and 2 crews. The crew members have all been selected among the best elements of the local tourism industry: a combination of professionals that grants the highest standards of service and safety at sea. The team's leader, Max Molteni, coordinates their works and he is often on board with them. Both the captains, Hameedh and Ali, are experts of the archipelago. They know all the best spots for diving, fishing and surfing of the Maldives. The chefs, Tony and Kumara, had a long-term experience in the Maldivian and Srilankan hotels. The other four members of the crew are a cocktail of courtesy and experience. Nyaz and Sukury are careful stewards, while Shaneef and Ajuadh are great fishermen. The crew speaks English and Italian.

Dhoni Stella has two elegant cabin suites with local decor accents and the exotic warmth of the teak and red meranti woods. Each cabin is located at sea level with large windows, excellent ventilation and wonderful sea view.

Cabins are equipped with hot water shower, air conditioning, abundant storage space, fresh liquid soaps, crisp white linens, thick bath towels, soft bath robes, beach towels and cool water jugs. For downloading pictures on your laptop or charging your camera for a new day of amazing photo memorabilia, power supply outlets of 220v are available in the cabins. The flat screen television is also ready for your use if you need to view your vacation pictures, plugging in your iPod, or watching a movie with the DVD player. Silent over-bed fans can provide you further comfort at night.

Stella 1 accommodates 4 people in 1 double bed and 1 twin bed cabins.

Stella 2 can accommodate up to 6 people (3 in each cabin): both the cabins have 1 double bed and 1 single bed and an additional single bed can be added in case of quadruple accommodation.

Dhoni Stella tables some amazing Asian-Fusion dishes on the waters of the Maldives. The chefs will prepare International cuisine with an Asian flair or the most traditional Western and Italian dishes, to your taste.

Breakfast is served half-buffet style, while lunch and dinner are 3-course meals as per your choice of dishes on the daily menu. Whether it is seasonal fruits, your own catch of the day’s sashimi or Maldivian delicacies, Dhoni Stella brings you the best of the best restaurants, at sea.

Dhoni Stella yachts have a fully equipped Dive Center, located at the aft deck. The professional Dive Instructor and Dive Master, with thousands of diving hours experience in the Maldives, can help you to obtain the PADI certification with thorough teachings and pleasant dives. The aft deck, covered for shade or open air for wind and sun, is also equipped with fishing gears, rods holders, and fighting belts for trolling and spinning.
