Wolgan Valley Resort & Spa offers a unique opportunity to experience true luxury in a spectacular Australian bush setting. The resort is located approximately 118 miles northwest of Sydney, between the Gardens of Stone National Park to the North, and Wollemi National Park to the East, both part of the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage area. Wolgan Valley Resort & Spa is a world-class conservation-based resort that occupies less than two per cent of the total land area of its 4,000 acres.
Accommodation consists of just 40 free-standing suites, each with their own outside decks and private swimming pool. The luxurious Timeless Spa is a great place to indulge in a range of treatments developed from natural ingredients, and a fully-equipped gym, tennis courts and outdoor swimming pool feature alongside the more rugged organized activities such as Aboriginal interpretive tours, nature hikes, wildlife spotting and horse riding trips. A range of dining options offers both outstanding local and international cuisine in casual and more intimate, formal settings to compliment an extensive wine cellar.
Insider's Guide:
Accommodation at Wolgan Valley Resort & Spa has been designed to provide you with space, comfort and privacy, combined with the timeless appeal of traditional Australian homestead architecture. Each free standing suite enjoys a private deck, swimming pool and garden courtyard area.
Great attention to detail has been paid to ensure fixtures and fittings are reminiscent of 'Federation' styled architecture, down to the last hinge and light switch. Neutral tones blend to complement the natural colors of the outdoor environment and each suite offers breathtaking views of the valley and Greater Blue Mountain area in all its rugged beauty.
Every suite has separate living and bedroom areas with luxurious en-suite bathrooms and walk-in wardrobes and is fully-equipped with the latest entertainment technology, including an LCD TV offering international channels, DVD player and sound system, high-speed wireless Internet access and an IPod docking station. Binoculars and two mountain bikes for use around the resort complete the experience.
